- RAID & Server Recovery
- Data Sanitization & Secure Destruction
- Tape Recovery & Migration
All services are performed in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
2. Service Evaluation & Quotes
- Diagnostic evaluations may be required before final pricing is confirmed.
- Quotes are estimates based on initial assessments.
- Final pricing may vary depending on device condition, complexity, or additional work required.
- Client approval is required before proceeding with paid recovery or forensic services.
3. No Guarantee of Recovery
While CSSI
3 maintains a high success rate, data recovery and forensic services are inherently complex.
- We do not guarantee 100% recovery of data.
- Success rates may vary depending on damage severity, encryption, hardware failure, or prior third-party intervention.
4. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding devices and incidents.
- Confirm legal ownership or authorization to access submitted devices or data.
- Ensure that submitted materials do not violate applicable laws.
CSSI
3 reserves the right to refuse service if legal ownership cannot be verified.
5. Digital Forensics & Legal Use
For Digital Forensics & eDiscovery services:
- Clients must ensure lawful authorization for investigations.
- CSSI3 is not responsible for misuse of forensic findings.
- Court admissibility may depend on jurisdiction and legal procedures beyond our control.
6. Ransomware Recovery
CSSI3 does not support or encourage payment of ransom demands.
Recovery attempts are performed using technical methods and forensic analysis. Results may vary depending on encryption type and damage extent.
7. Data Confidentiality
CSSI
3 treats all client data as strictly confidential.
- Access to data is limited to authorized personnel.
- Data is handled within secure environments.
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) may be executed upon request.
8. Data Sanitization & Destruction
For certified data destruction services:
- Certificates of destruction may be issued upon completion.
- CSSI3 is not responsible for data remaining on devices not processed under agreed standards.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- CSSI3 shall not be liable for loss of data, business interruption, or indirect damages.
- Liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service performed.
10. Payment Terms
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Payment terms will be specified in the service agreement or invoice.
- Services may require upfront payment or deposit.
- Devices may be withheld until payment is received in full.
11. Turnaround Time
Estimated turnaround times are provided as guidance only and may vary depending on:
- Service complexity
- Parts availability
- Technical conditions
Emergency services may incur additional fees.
12. Intellectual Property
All reports, forensic findings, methodologies, and documentation remain the intellectual property of CSSI3unless otherwise agreed in writing.
